The best plans in Morella

Morella has been officially a Child Friendly City since October 2016. This hallmark, granted by UNICEF, recognizes the cities that promote and promote the application of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) at the local level, promotes the participation of children and adolescents in all issues that affect them, and promote networking between the different municipalities that are part of this initiative.

That is why we also want to adapt to the tourist needs of the little ones at home, to their leisure time, to their immense ability to discover the world with another look. In Morella they have spaces designed to play, such as The Games Towers, known as the San Miguel Door, the main access to the walled enclosure, and where they can enjoy an exhibition of traditional games and dress up as authentic medieval!

They can also live the adventure of traveling through a forest through Tibetan bridges, zip lines, lianas, etc., in the adventure circuit Saltapins. Located in the old industrial complex of the Giner Factory, this leisure space welcomes the possibility of horse riding, a hostel, a swimming pool, a green area, etc.

As a Child Friendly City, in Morella we protect their rights to be able to walk safely through the streets. That is why vehicles have limited access and restricted circulation. The urban planning adapted to the mountain, makes Morella a place to walk, either inside the wall as well as through the shadow of the Castle, where a pine forest with paths and the Alameda, guarantee a meeting space, green and uncontaminated.

To guide you around Morella, we have prepared a MAP (which you can get at the tourist office) where to locate the Dinosaur Time Museum, the playgrounds, the swimming pool, etc. When passing through the Town Hall, the little ones will find the reception of the giants of Morella: Seidia, Artal, Rosella and Abu Sa'id.
