Miel Montgó

With this activity we manage to introduce the public to the world of beekeeping, we take advantage of the environment that surrounds us to introduce our customers to the exciting world of bees. Enjoy a pleasant walk surrounded by nature, learning about the botany of the Montgó, the relevance of history in the landscape and the activities of the beekeeper and getting to know our bees up close, offering at the end of the walk a delicious honey tasting. Having a farm in the heart of the Montgó Natural Park, the mountain with the greatest biodiversity in Europe, the idea for harvesting a bee arose in the midst of a pandemic. In this way, the area's rich biodiversity is supported and promoted by the activity of beekeeper Eduardo Fernández, who enhances its richness through pollination. That's why he decided to specialize in beekeeping, learn all the intricacies of this culture, and create a space dedicated to bees, with native honey plantations in harmony with the ecosystem of the La Plana region in JÁVEA.
