Oceanogràfic

Carrer d'Eduardo Primo Yúfera, 1. CP.: 46013
Valencia - Valencia/València

Located in the avant-garde architectural complex of the Ciudad de les Arts i les Ciències de València, the aquarium is a true tribute to the seas and oceans of the planet and contains large aquariums that faithfully reproduce the most important marine ecosystems.

Since its opening in February 2003, the Oceanogràfic de València has become a scientific, educational and recreational centre of the first order.

Beyond the recreational component, its main objective is to actively promote the conservation of the seas and their inhabitants and to spread the importance of this message among the people of the Valencian Community and the rest of the world.

To this end, it regularly carries out research and educational projects related to the sea and the oceans. In its desire to promote knowledge of this environment, the Oceanogràfic offers visitors a journey through the different marine ecosystems, where they can go through the longest underwater tunnel in Europe, walk under the sharp teeth of sharks, meet the only family of beluga whales in Europe and attend the dolphin presentation that we hold every day in the dolphinarium.

Visiting the Oceanogràfic is a unique experience. Everything is possible in this magical place.
