The Region of Valencia has different water parks to enjoy with children and teenagers. We are going to show you 4 that you will surely love!
Aquarama is a water park in Benicàssim with a wide variety of attractions for all age groups. There are quiet areas with children's attractions, but also water rides for the more adventurous.
The little ones will have a great time in Chiquilandia. There are gentle water jets that can be operated by the children, bright and vibrant colours and large flowers that decorate the area. Adventurous children can explore the Pirate's Cove, where they have to find a real treasure in a cave.
For the more courageous there are the Kamikazes: Giant slides with a vertical drop that will make you feel like you're flying over the water. The Devil's Leap is the highest and steepest slide in Europe...... only for the brave!
There are also colourful slides for the whole family, an underground river in the middle of the park, lakes for relaxing and much more!
- Aquarama is open from 10am to 7pm.
- Parking is free, there are lockers for storage and you can bring in food and drink (if you avoid glass containers) - don't miss out on the famous waffles!
Benidorm also has its own water park: Aqua Natura. In its 40.000m2 area you will discover an endless number of attractions for children and adults alike.
Which slide are you most looking forward to trying? In 'La Cresta' you can experience the sensation of zero gravity, in the AquaSnake you slide for 150m in a zigzag, take a ride down Rio Aventura or enjoy the light and flashing effects in the Black Hole. For the more daring there is the Kamikaze: a high-speed, matless plummet at high speed.
For the little ones there are also slides, which they can enjoy with their mummies and daddies.
The children's area for kids up to 12 years old is super fun with play areas, bamboo water reeds, fountains and water curtains that allow the smallest ones to cool off and play in a shallow area.
There is also a water castle with corridors, hiding places and interactive games.
And if you wish, you can become a mermaid or triton for a day at the Mermaid School or swim with sea lions! You can buy these experiences separately.
It is recommended not to go barefoot and to wear suitable footwear at Aqua Natura (flip-flops, sandals).
Aqua Natura does not rent floating equipment.
The Aqua Natura hammocks are rented in groups of two, together in the same area.
Children accessing the attractions must be at least 1.20 metres tall.
Picnics are allowed in the designated areas inside the enclosure and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
At the Aqualandia water park in Benidorm, you are guaranteed to have a fun day. This water park has fifteen large water attractions adapted for any age and level of intensity. Aqualandia has the highest water slide in Europe and the highest capsule slide in the world.
You can choose between children's rides, moderate rides or radical rides, depending on what you feel like! One of the most radical attractions is the Verti-Go. It is a set of two slides, 28 and 33 metres high. The 33-metre slide is the highest slide in Europe and the highest capsule slide in the world. Do you dare?
Adventureland is designed for the younger children. There are slides, ball pools, a children's maze and endless activities.
- You can bring your own food (no glass allowed) and there is a picnic area.
- Most of the rides are for people over 1.20m tall.
Another water park to have a great day out is Aquopolis in Cullera.
For children under the age of 10 there is the Children's Zone with the Mini Park and Polynesia. There is a water castle, interactive games, waterfalls and slides. Children can swim under huge mushrooms and have fun in the ball pool, and if you feel like it, you can swim in the wave pool!
But that's not all! For those who want an adrenaline rush there is the Calypso, Mini Zig Zag and the Blackhole. For those who are looking for a relaxed ride, you can cruise down the Amazonia River. On the Rapids you can slide down any of the three slides for a distance of more than 100 metres.
- Aquopolis is open from 11am to 7pm.
- There are lockers to store your things (for a small fee) and you can also bring in food and drinks (if you avoid glass containers).
- The children's ticket is from 0.90m to 1.40m. Less than 0.90m admission is free of charge.
- Sun loungers and lockers are not included in the entrance fee.
