Summer plans with kids in the Region of Valencia

8 de July de 2020
There are plenty of kid-friendly plans in the Region of Valencia. We are going to show you which ones you definitely shouldn't miss!

  • ????Have a fun filled day at one of the waterparks in the Region of Valencia. You can choose between the water parks in Benidorm, Benicàssim and Cullera. They all have water attractions like swimming pools, water slides, splash pads and water playgrounds. The waterparks are great for all ages, it's a good option to please the whole family.

  • ????You can't visit the Region of Valencia without visiting a beach or "cala" (usually a smaller beach). We recommend you visit Cala del Retor en Oropesa del Mar, Cala Foradada (Vinaròs), Cala del Moro (Peñíscola), Los Baños de la Reina (El Campello), Cala Portixol (Jávea), Cala del Tío Ximo (Benidorm).

  • ????Go for a bike ride with the family. Spain has many "via verdes", old train tracks that have been converted into beautiful bike lanes surrounded by nature. If you would like to enjoy the coat by bike, we suggest the vía verde that goes from Oropesa del Mar to Benicàssim. If you are looking for mountainous surroundings, you will enjoy the vía verde de Ojos Negros. You can choose to stay at the Altomira campsite and make it a weekend trip.

  • ????If you are up for an easy walk, we recommend the hike that leads to the Faro de Albir. The kids can take their scooters or bikes and if you have small children you can even take a stroller. On sunny summer days it might be a good idea to go early in the morning or in the afternoon. Make sure you take water and sunscreen with you.
