A stroll though the old town
The old town of Peñíscola is worth a visit. With very young children it is worth opting for a baby carrier, because the old town has narrow and steep streets with cobblestones. Are your kids able to find the house of shells? This curious house has a facade full of shells, the kids will love it!
In the old town it is also worth looking for the blowhole. It is located in a cul-de-sac very close to the Museum of the Sea. Under the right conditions the sound of the air moving through the blowhole, can be heard through much of the Old Town in Peñiscola.
The Museum of the Sea is an interesting little museum to visit with children and learn about the history and seafaring tradition of Peñíscola.
To make the visit more enjoyable for children, there are two different routes: The Pirate route and the Adventure route. They are two routes that work with an app. With them you will enjoy a fun and interesting tour of Peñíscola, discovering its history and most emblematic places in a playful way.
Visit the Peñíscola Castle
The Castle of Peñíscola, called the Castillo de Papa Luna, is a Templar castle in the highest area of ??the rock. Children will love exploring all its corners, from the dungeons to its courtyards, going up and down its towers and enjoying breathtaking views over the Mediterranean Sea.
The ticket includes a visit to the Artillery Park; a botanical garden with palm trees and native flora of the Sierra de Irta Natural Park that also houses a refuge for birds of prey.

If you like nature, you must visit the stunninh Sierra d'Irta Natural Park with a protected space comprising more than 7,700 hectares of land and 2,448 marine hectares.. There are several short and easy hiking trails to do with children. There are a total of 8 routes to discover this natural park.
